Professional All – Breed Handling

~ Professional All-Breed Handling ~

Update (2010): Currently I am a show handling instructor at Canine Development Center and train the junior handlers for their competition in shows. This I find extremely rewarding. In July of 2010 I had the pleasure of being on the panel of judges and judging at the Ontario North Zone junior Handling finals.

My name is Bethany Silvestri, and I am twenty-two years old. I graduated from St. Ignatius in June 2005. I have been raised with German Shepherds. I was introduced to this sport at a very young age. I have been showing and training dogs for almost 15 years. Over the past years I have shown many different breeds. In 1998, I was awarded Reserve Best overall in Ontario North Zone Finals at age 12. Later that year I was given a Whippet from Breeder/Judge David Markus. In 2005, I aged out of Junior Handling and since then have taught other Juniors to show dogs. I have worked with many Professional Handlers. I recently have introduced my nephew Jesse into this sport. He has been showing in Pee Wee with my whippet. I enjoy working with the dogs.

I have pointed many dogs towards their championship and successfully shown dogs to their championships. Now, I am an All Breed Professional Handler. In 2008 I handled our CH. Questbest's Kativa to #2 female German Shepherd in Canada, June Standings.I am currently accepting new clients. If interested please contact me.
